Safemedigo is a very trustworthy and professional company. So far they have assisted my mum and myself 3 times regarding health check ups and treatment. I was recommended by a friend and it has been of big benefit to me and my family. Its a service that does what it says in the name, as we are travelling from London, Turkey is a foreign country to us but we felt safe the whole time. We personally were assisted by Majd Eddin Khalid and what he done was communicated clearly and professionally with us to find out what the health issue is, he advised us on the specific tests that would be best carried out for that issue and he would arrange for us care facilities that are very good quality, for example radiology departments or hospitals. The whole time he would support us overcome the language barrier by communicating with the professionals and he would make sure our questions are answered. In London the waiting times and referrals took too long. I complained of back pain for years and was not able to get a scan because I kept being sent to physio. I am 28 years old and because I didn't have concerning symptoms I was not taken serious. I was repeatedly advised to do stretches. As my pain and worry increased I made contact with Majd, we informed him of flight details and he arranged transport to the hotel and gave recommendation to hotels close to healthcare facilities. I had an MRI scan of my lumbar spine in a very good department with kind professionals. It was found I had a vertebral haemangioma which is also known as a benign tumour in my L4. The specialist I saw Dr Mehmet Nuri Erdem was extremely helpful in providing direction on what needs to be done and answering so many of my questions patiently together with Majd. I took some time to think about this, wanting to get a second opinion in London. After waiting 18 hours in A&E because of my intense pain, the specialist did not see me as my condition did not seem like a problem to them although it was affecting my quality of life everyday. The pain kept getting worse so after some research I decided to do the advised Vertebroplasty procedure. It is a minimally invasive procedure but as with any procedure my family and I were very anxious, especially because the stigma there is on lots of stories of procedures having gone wrong abroad. But because of the level of professionalism and trustworthiness of Majd and Dr Mehmet, I proceeded due to my hope that this health issue could be resolved. I was also advised against getting pregnant as the tumour had made my spine prone to a fracture because of the holes. For many reasons I really needed this procedure. Thank God, everything went smoothly. I am currently recovering from the procedure, but I can feel already it has helped me. I'm so excited to get better and continue living my life with a stronger back I'A. Thank you so much Safemedigo for assisting me during this stressful time and making everything go smoothly.
